A new site and a new drive
For a long time now I’ve wanted a blog. I created my own website, create an external app to handle new blog posts, bought a virtual Linux server, setup the security, had so many issues with getting the web hosting…and IT GOT TOO MUCH.
I’ve now a bit older and less determined to show off my programming skills. I’m now using Square Space to get the website off the ground as I just want a blog.
Its a bit humbling how quickly I got a site operational and doing want I wanted. Its clear that reinventing the wheel should not be the first thing I aim for with all my endeavours.
Tangentially to this revelation is the use of AI to create 2d artwork. I’m not a 2D artist. I can paint and build physical models but I really struggle with perspectives and brush control on a flat canvas. As such I’ve been learning how to setup and run an AI image generator on my personal computers. Its been really exciting.
Currently I have a few projects in my mind that I’m working getting off the ground.
Etwol, my collectable card game, is still in my mind and being slowly…very slowly…worked on. I’m planning on using AI to help create placeholder art until I would be able to pay actual artists to create good art.
AI Daily Art - I want to improve my prompt writting for AI to generate interesting art pieces. I’ve gotten a large amount of AI models and will be giving each one the same prompt to see how they generate them differently. Please take a look at the AI Art part of this page.
Replication - As part of my business plan is to create a sell STL’s of my custom terrain and model bases. I’ve been using a Revopoint Mini on all my latest custom model bases. This has enabled me to then print them out and reuse them for multiple models. My current plan is to continue to make these models and put them onto different STL websites like Myminifactory or Cults3D, but I want to have a few more before taking that step.
Its all a new day and I’ve been enjoying getting this all working.
I’m going to try and post every few days in the blog and every day in the AI Art blog.
